bio

Composer, songwriter and arranger based in Glasgow, Scotland.

With influences from a wide variety of music, from pop and rock to experimental and classical, I write in a range of different styles, but always with my own unique perspective and sound.

My recent work has included a jingle for the ‘Booze and the Bard’ podcast, a solo cello piece commissioned by Robert Irvine for UNICEF charity album Songs and Elegies (released on Delphian Records and premiered at St Magnus International Festival in 2016), original music for a PHD project involving the effect of music on dogs, string and brass arrangements for a new album by Edinburgh band Dog on a Swing and music for short film, ‘Solitude’, as well as ongoing work with my own band, Urvanovic.

Urvanovic’s debut album Amateurs was released in June 2015 to critical acclaim, featuring in The Herald’s Top 50 Scottish Albums of the Year list – more info at urvanovic.com
